Castle Cornet

This ancient royal fortress has stood guard over the town and harbour of St Peter Port for eight centuries. It offers four museums, extensive gardens and great views. The noon-day gun fires every day of the season and is a great spectacle as the scarlet clad gunner in the militia uniform marches in to fire the 32 pound canon.
