About

The 17th-century cottage was home to Coleridge for three years. It was during his time in Somerset that Coleridge wrote his finest works, including 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner' and 'Kubla Khan'. Working with William Wordsworth on their collection of Lyrical Ballads, it was in Somerset that the literary movement of Romanticism was born.
