Elizabeth Castle

This Elizabethan fortress, in the middle of St Aubins Bay and cut off from the tide twice a day, was extended in the 17th and 18th centuries and refortified by the Germans during the Second World War. The castle is home to the Jersey Militia Museum; the Granite and Gunpowder exhibition.
