Gearrannan Blackhouse Village

Explore the scenic setting, experience life in a 1955 blackhouse, learn something of the history and culture of a typical crofting township. See traditional activities including the weaving of the famous Harris Tweed. Village open from 9.30am to 5pm (seasonal) except Sundays. Free coach parking. Our Cafeteria provides tea/coffee and a selection of homemade baking as well as homemade soup & sandwiches. Lunch bookings for groups are essential.
