About

The ruins of an Augustinian priory founded in 1119 by the Bruce family, afterwards Kings of Scotland. The dramatic east end wall of the church is one of the finest examples of late 13th century architecture in England. The adjacent woodland contains masonry from the Priory. The site is managed by Gisborough Priory Project on behalf of English Heritage.
