John Wesley's New Room

Built in 1739, John Wesley's New Room is the oldest Methodist building in the world where the movement began. The museum explores themes of social justice, Britain's history and early Methodism with talks and tours available. Pre-booked group visits to the nearby home of hymn-writer Charles Wesley are also possible.
