This opulent house, reimagined in the early 19th century, contains an outstanding collection of paintings, including works by Brueghel, Rubens and Van Dyck. Interiors include the fabulous gilded leather Spanish Room and the elegant grand Saloon. In the fine collection of Egyptian artefacts there are exhibits dating from 3000BC. 250 acres of wooded parkland.
