About

Knole is a historic house containing world class collections of royal furniture, silver, paintings and tapestries. It was acquired by the Archbishops of Canterbury in the fifteenth century, gifted to Henry VIII and remodelled in the 17th century by the Sackville family. The house, set in Kent’s last medieval deer park, has inspired writers, artists and visitors for centuries.
