Richborough Roman Fort and Amphitheatre (English Heritage)

As the gateway to Roman Britannia, Richborough was a busy port town and powerful fortress. Visitors can now climb a reconstruction of a wooden gateway and rampart, enjoy the site via audio guide and displays, and discover stories and roman artefacts in the revamped museum.
