Shakespeare's Globe

Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is a faithful reconstruction of the open-air playhouse first built in 1599. The Globe Theatre Season runs from April until mid-October, with the winter performance season taking place in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, our Indoor candlelit Jacobean theatre from late October to early April. Year-round Guided Tours, live demonstrations, educational events, as well as shop, bar, and restaurant.
