Charles Wade was an artist and architect who took delight in turning his home into a stage for his varied and curious finds. His objects were, for him, a celebration of colour, craftmanship and design. Next to the manor house is the small cottage where Charles Wade lived. Both manor house and cottage are surrounded by an intimate terraced garden. Allow 2 hours. Café and shop.
