Wenlock Priory (English Heritage)

Wonderfully atmospheric ruins of a Cluniac priory, on the fringe of an attractive market town. Once a magnet for pilgrims to the shrine of St Milburge, Wenlock is renowned for its outstanding carved Norman stonework and topiary garden setting.
