Witley Court and Gardens (English Heritage)

The extensive ruins of this Victorian country house, which was accidentally burnt to a shell in 1937, still evoke an air of grandeur. The centrepiece is the Perseus and Andromeda fountain, recently restored. Groups also have over 60 acres of informal wilderness gardens and woodland walks to enjoy at their leisure.
